Webunload is a different kind of internet marketplace. Inspired by the need for a better resource to sell internet related goods (websites, templates, domains, etc), I created Webunload. As a free service, Webunload gives you the ability to sell your products off to a prospective audience who is looking for serious, professional sellers. There is no game playing here (scamming, ripping, etc). Webunload is all about providing our sellers with a better median to get their work out, and offering buyers a single resource to discover excellent web based material that they need to get their hands on.

What Makes WebUnload?
Focused - WebUnload is specifically focused on the selling and purchasing of web goods. At other sites, including Sitepoint, the marketplace is a mere “additional feature”, and it is not the core of the site. Here at WebUnload, the marketplace is the whole reason the site exists. There is nothing else to get in the way or distract visitors.
Free - So why not? Posting on WebUnload is free, which means even if you are skeptical, there are no reasons why you shouldn’t give this a try!.
Visitor Driven - The sole goal of WebUnload is to help you get your items sold faster and with a larger profit than traditional forum marketplaces might offer. We will draw visitors in to view and explore the marketplace, so you can be assured that your listing will be seen.
Partnerships with Sites - Very soon, WebUnload will be partnered with multiple sites so that our listings are syndicated throughout the web. This is just another way we will be able to expose your listings to a much wider audience.
What Kind of Information Should I put in my Ad?
When you are ready to post to the marketplace, it is important that you consider what you want the body of the post to contain. It is totally up to you on the amount of detail you want to go into when describing whatever it is you may be selling, but here is a little recommendation guide for things you should hit in your post.
Provide a description / overview of what you are selling
Depending on the type of item you are selling, including some of the following information will be greatly beneficial: visitor information (total, uniques, etc), the purpose of the site, how long it has been running for, member base (if any), etc.
List and mention everything that will be included with the sale
Why you are selling this particular item
Revenue (if any)
Obviously, the more information you include, the better chances you have of getting hits on your post. Don’t forget (and this is very important) to use the uploader underneath the post to add additional content to your submission. Include images and any other files / documents that could help aid the sale and provide possible buyers with more information. If you upload images, please insert the thumbnail, as it will be linked to a larger version of the image for you.
I’m Registered and ready to go. Now what?
If you’ve registered, one of the first things you should tackle is the editing of your profile. Your “About Yourself” description gets placed at the right of all your posts, so it is important that it contains a short (or long) bio about yourself. Feel free to enter in your website url in the Website URL Field along with AIM or YAHOO Messenger screen names, as those are also placed inside your posts. Finally, make sure you have a valid email address, as potential buyers are offered the opportunity to email you from a link at the bottom of your posts as well (with some special linking methods to prevent spam!).
